Training Route

This is where you practise for the test!  You will see your results at the end – no-one else will.  You can carry on to take the live test when you’re ready.

The questions aim to bring out your understanding of what ‘responsible behaviour’ is on site.  Some are plain facts you do need to learn, for example how diseases are transmitted, but many questions are to do with safety guidance and the requirements of health and safety regulations, and many of the answers are just common sense.  The construction industry is one of the most regulated of UK industries – we can’t just do as we like on site!

For many matters that arise, it’s important to go through your supervisor or team leader in the interests of safety and control, and a few of the questions touch on this too.
